University of St Andrews

University of St Andrews

St Andrews is once again the top-ranked Scottish university in our league table and still Scotland’s only representative in our top 20.

The university, which celebrated its 600th anniversary in 2013, is Scotland’s oldest and the third oldest in the English-speaking world. Now it has acquired a more unexpected distinction, having been named as the leading university with the cheapest living costs. MoneySuperMarket took account of insurance premiums, rents and beer prices in reaching its conclusion.
