Future Capability Programme
- Earn, learn, and experience life in the heart of the City of London
- Benefit from training and ongoing support
- Study for formal qualifications
If you’re about to finish school and are considering what your next step is, then take a closer look at our Future Capability Programme. We designed it to help talented young people make a great start in their careers. And it could see you grow in a key role at the heart of the UK’s economy.
Joining a close-knit peer group, you’ll start the programme with formal introductions to the various areas of the Bank and training sessions on essential skills. There’ll be a full induction too, where you’ll discover all about the work we do and where you’ll fit in.
When you apply, you’ll be considered for one of the following areas:
Gain first-hand experience of the work that makes us tick, such as processing financial data.
Take on challenges such as providing technical support, solving problems and developing new applications.
Learn how to process and provide the statistical data that helps teams across the Bank deliver their vital work.
Whichever direction you take, you’ll study for a Business Administration Apprenticeship. Following this, there are several paths open to you, including Degree Apprenticeships, further study, and on the job learning.
Who we're looking for
A minimum of five GCSEs at C and above, including English and Maths, are a must, as are at least 180 UCAS points (either passed or predicted) from up to three A Levels or equivalent. But we’re not just looking for grades. We want people who share our purpose, are eager to learn, and who can’t wait to get involved in our work.
